This presentation was given at the Data-Centric conference in Fort Collins, Colorado. It referred to the demonstration given in the previous presentation on Virtual Data Lakes and Microservices Architecture - a Platform for the Internet of Things. It also related Lacibus virtual data lakes and Soda data content management to the emerging Data-Centric Architecture reference model.

This presentation was given at The Open Group London Event and included a demonstration of the combination of Internet of Things data with manually-entered data using virtual data lakes.
There were two virtual data lakes, one running on the AWS cloud and the other running on a Raspberry Pi. The one on the AWS cloud captured data entered during the meeting and stored it on an AWS S3 source. The one on the Raspberry Pi captured the temperature in the meeting room, read by a sensor, and stored it in a local source. Both data lakes were connected to an AWS S3 source in which the Pi stored peak temperature values. These were then combined with the manually-entered data in the AWS cloud virtual data lake.
